Do I need to contact dr1travel to confirm my booking?
No. You should have received a booking confirmation number via email. If you have lost or didn't receive this email.
Please contact us via the form below and we will re-send you confirmation number.

How do I change my booking?
You can change your booking at anytime by contacting the hotel or tour company directly.
Their contact details are included in the reservation confirmation sent to you.

How do I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking at anytime by sending us an email via the form below, including your name, email and confirmation number.

Note: All cancelled bookings will be subject to the terms of our cancellation policy that can be found under our
Terms & Conditions.

How do I sign up to special deals?
On the top left hand corner of almost every page you will see a "Free Newsletter"subscriber box.
Sign up here to receive emails on great deals and regular updates.

Is the room rate per person or per night?
All rates displayed are nightly, and based on double occupancy per room unless otherwise specified.
Carefully review the room descriptions and policies to ensure the room you select can accommodate your entire party.
Any extra adults or children above the rooms listed occupancy may be subject to additional charges at the property's discretion.

Can I book a hotel by phone?
No. We only provide phone support for technical help or current active bookings.

What happens when I make a reservation?
Reservation requests take up to 24hrs to be confirmed. Once your reservation has been confirmed, you will be sent a confirmation number via email, along with your hotel and tour details.

Why do you charge a service fee?
We charge a service fee as a way to secure your reservation. This way your are guaranteed your room or tour will be available on the dates you booked.

How do I pay the remainder of the booking fee?
This is paid directly to the hotel or tour on arrival. Some hotels or tours have specific payment terms and these are included in the hotel or tour web pages and also in the conformation emails we send if applicable.

Once I have made my reservation, will I receive any written confirmation from the hotel?
No. The email confirmation you receive from dr1travel.com is all you will need. It displays the hotel or tour information, the rate, confirmation number.

Can I put a hotel reservation on hold?
No.  All hotel and tour reservations made on dr1travel.com must be guaranteed with a major credit card.

Why do I get the message "rooms are not available" when I do a hotel search?
This message may appear when hotel room availability changes. Occasionally, the hotel may no longer have rooms available for the dates you selected. 
If this happens, return to the hotel list and choose another hotel or different dates.

I haven't received or I have lost my confirmation e-mail, how do I get another copy?
If you have not received your confirmation email within 24 hours of making a booking or have lost the e-mail, please check your deleted items / junk mail or spam box.

How do I make sure dr1travel emails don't get caught in my spam or junk mail filter?
If you find a dr1travel e-mail in your junk mail or spam box, most e-mail programs will allow you to mark the e-mail by clicking "Not spam" or "Add to Safe Senders List" so future e-mails will not be intercepted.

- Open your e-mail

- Open your e-mail
- Click the down arrow in top right corner of e-mail field

AOL Mail
- Before opening the e-mail, right-click the e-mail address in the "From" column

Is my credit card information safe when I book on dr1travel.com?

Reviews

What happens if I submit a fake review?
If a hotel or tour owner, friend or third-party submits a fake review, then
the hotel or tour will be black listed on dr1travel.
We strongly recommend that you do not attempt to write your own reviews.

What details should I include in a review?
- Describe the hotel or tour and service your experienced.
- Write about what you liked best & least.
- Talk about the location and the surrounding area.
- Most importantly, base the review on your personal experience.

What shouldn't I include in a review?
- Use profanity, threats, or personal insults.
- Write in ALL CAPS.
- Plagiarize a review from somebody else.
- Spam or promotional material of any kind is not allowed.

How do I edit or remove my review?
You cannot edit a review once it is submitted.

When will my review be posted?
Within 72hrs of being submitted.
You will be emailed as soon as your review is posted on dr1travel.
