We enjoyed our stay at Altercerro. We got a room with a fireplace and a balcony facing the town. It was quiet and comfortable and had a nice view. The room came with a full working kitchen and was an easy walk to the hotel restaurant for the included breakfast. The fireplace took the chill out of the air and added atmosphere to the two level room. The employees were all very helpful from bringing us firewood to helping us obtain an ATV (four wheel vehicle) to explore the road to Aqua Blancas waterfall. The also offered horseback riding on or off the hotel grounds. All this for $2500 RD per night. I will definitly return.
